Privacy Policy

Last updated April 30, 2026

This privacy policy explains what information My Seven Home (the project portal at mysevenhome.com, operated by Seven Custom Homes / VII Homes — together “we”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We try to keep this short and plain.

Who this applies to

This policy applies to clients, prospects, and team members who use the My Seven Home portal. If you’re using the portal as a client of Seven Custom Homes, your project documents, selections, and change orders live here.

What we collect

  • Identifiers you give us: name, email address(es), phone number, mailing/property address.
  • Account data: hashed password, login activity, electronic-signature records (typed name, timestamp, IP address, browser/device).
  • Project data: schedules, selections, change orders, comments, photos, and documents you or your project team upload.
  • Technical data: server logs, IP address, browser/device info collected automatically when you use the portal.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, payment-card data, or biometric identifiers through the portal. Financial transactions for your build happen outside the portal.

How we use it

  • To run your project: showing you your selections, schedule, change orders, and documents.
  • To send you transactional emails (invitations, notifications, signed-approval receipts).
  • To keep audit records of approvals you make electronically (for ESIGN/UETA compliance).
  • To debug, secure, and improve the portal.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it to advertise to you or to train advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of vendors to run the portal. Each receives only what they need to do their job:

  • Railway — hosts the application and database.
  • Cloudflare R2 — stores files you upload (photos, PDFs).
  • SendGrid (Twilio) — sends portal emails.

We share your information with our team and contractors working on your project on a need-to-know basis. We disclose information when legally required (court order, regulatory request) or to protect rights and safety.

How long we keep it

We keep your project data for the life of your project plus as long as we’re reasonably required to keep it for warranty, tax, accounting, and legal-defense purposes. Electronic- signature audit records are retained for at least seven (7) years after the related approval.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. To exercise those rights, contact us at the address below. We’ll verify your identity before acting on a request.

Texas residents: Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), you may request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of your personal data, and you may appeal a decision we make about a request by replying to our response.

Security

We use industry-standard practices: encrypted connections, hashed passwords, scoped access by role, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure. If you suspect your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

Children

The portal is not intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. If we make material changes we’ll notify active clients by email and update the “last updated” date above.
